About SFUWO

Company C, 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) operates the SFUWO training facility on Fleming Key, Naval Air Station Key West.  It is a training site of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  Its mission is to train selected joint SOF, DOD, allied, and interagency personnel as combat surface and subsurface infiltrators, dive supervisors, and dive medical technicians for the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Company has operated in Key West since 1964.  The Company also maintains the only recompression chambers for the treatment of diving injuries in the Lower Florida Keys.  The chambers support all military diving operations for commands on Naval Air Station Key West.
